That is going to make the difference as the Tampa Bay team gets the win.
Canadiens vs Capitals
Montreal has played good on the season so far, but on the road the Canadiens have only dropped 4 games on the year. However, the challenge for the Canadiens is the fact that the Capitals have Tom Wilson on the injury list and that can make the difference in this game here as Wilson is the leading scorer for the Washington team and even if he does come back on the ice his play could be limited making it easier for the Canadiens to get the win.

Flames vs Blue Jackets
Calgary and Columbus are both playing horrible hockey on the year, but the Blue Jackets are playing at home and the Columbus team has been difficult to beat at home. However, the Blue Jackets and the Flames are both struggling to score on the year and that is going to make it easier for me to see the under hitting in the game here as 6.5 seems high to me.
Red Wings vs Bruins
The Detroit Red Wings and the Boston Bruins are facing off against each other in what should be a classic match. The Bruins are coming here with a 15-8-1 record at home, but the Red Wings are 12-7-3 on the road. Now, one aspect that could be a difficulty for the Bruins is the fact that the Bruins have Morgan Geekie who is listed as day to day on the injury report and he has been one of the top Bruins scorers on the year. That injury alone makes it easier for me to see the Red Wings getting the win in this game here.
Hurricanes vs Blues
The Blues and the Hurricanes are squaring off and are a couple of teams that are on a completely different trajectory. However, the Blues are a team that has been lacking offensively lately and that will allow the Hurricanes to control the game, but with how well the Hurricanes defense plays the Blues will not be able to score that many goals and that is why I am taking the under in this game here.
Oilers vs Predators
The Oilers should be able to secure the win in this game here. The Oilers are playing better offensively with 3.38 goals per game, but the Predators are only getting 2.71 goals per game. The defense, though, is even as the Oilers are giving up 3.31 goals and the Predators are giving up only 3.29 goals per game.
Islanders vs Jets
The Islanders are a team that has had some great games played on the year. However, the Islanders could have some issues in this game here that makes it easier for the Jets to get the win. The main injury is the fact that the Islanders are missing their leading goal scorer with Bo Horvat being listed as out in this game here and out until the end of January.
Maple Leafs vs Mammoth
Utah and Toronto are a couple of teams that have struggled on the year at times. However, the Mammoth are coming in with a better defense in this game here. The Mammoth, though, are going to have to show up to their normal level to slightly better with the Maple Leafs playing better offensively, but those two factors combined of a weak defense from the Maple Leafs and a strong offensive showing from both of these teams, which I see happening, making this game hit the over.
Stars vs Ducks
The Dallas Stars are playing great on the year so far, but the Ducks are playing the polar opposite and are sitting at the five hundred mark. However, in this game here the Stars are putting in 3.42 goals per game versus the Ducks 3.24 goals per game. The true and telling stat that makes it easier to see the Stars win the game is the defense with the Stars giving up 2.80 goals per game versus the Ducks giving up 3.73 goals per game.
