Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors Picks and Predictions for Monday, November 2, 2026
Phoenix has beaten Golden State this season, but little has gone right for the Suns since. Friday's 127-120 loss to Denver left Phoenix at 1-3, third in the Pacific Division. Golden State is second at 3-3 after beating the Lakers 112-95 for its third straight win. The Warriors face the LA Clippers at home Sunday before completing a back-to-back against Phoenix on Monday. Tipoff is at 10:00 pm ET at Chase Center in San Francisco on NBA League Pass. Check our free NBA picks for Monday.
Phoenix Suns Need More Than Another Big Scoring Night
Phoenix scored 120 against Denver on Friday and still lost by seven. The Suns keep scoring enough to compete, then giving opponents far too much room at the other end. Phoenix has struggled to stop opponents. Portland scored 124, Oklahoma City put up 125, and Denver added another 127 on Friday. Even the Suns' lone victory was a high-scoring affair, with Golden State putting up 122. Oklahoma City beat Phoenix 125-114 on Monday, while Portland handed the Suns a 124-83 defeat in their opener. The win showed Phoenix's potential. Scoring means little without stops.
Devin Booker is averaging 22.3 points and shooting 50% from the floor. He also averages 5.3 assists per game. Dillon Brooks has contributed 16.5 points and is hitting 42.9% from three, while Miles Bridges supplies 16.3 points and 7.3 rebounds. Phoenix needs Bridges on the glass because the Suns average only 39.7 rebounds. Booker and Brooks can stretch a defense, but Phoenix can't keep allowing opponents to score so easily at the other end.
Injuries: Mark Williams is out.

Golden State Warriors Looking More Comfortable After Slow Start
The Lakers ran into a much tougher Golden State defense Friday night. Los Angeles managed only 95 points, and the Warriors came away with a 112-95 victory. It was their third win in five days, following a 119-114 result in Minnesota and a convincing 134-114 performance in Denver. Golden State needed those results after losing close games to Memphis and Phoenix. The Suns had scored 131 against the Warriors on October 24, so there will be plenty of interest in how Golden State handles that matchup a second time.
Stephen Curry has started the season in excellent shooting form. He's averaging 29.2 points, with 4.4 made three-pointers per game, and opponents have had little success keeping him quiet. Yaxel Lendeborg has also given the Warriors plenty to work with, particularly around the basket. His 19.8 points and 7.8 rebounds have made him an important part of the starting lineup. Brandin Podziemski is contributing 16.3 points, while Draymond Green remains the main distributor with 7.2 assists. Curry has several teammates capable of getting involved when defenders give him extra attention.
Injuries: Kristaps Porzingis, Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler III are out.
Key To The Game
The first meeting was a shootout, with Phoenix putting 131 points on Golden State. Booker will again look to get comfortable in the middle of the floor, while Curry threatens from farther out. The Suns have struggled to finish defensive possessions, and Golden State's 43.8 rebounds per game could expose that weakness. Bridges and Lendeborg will have important jobs on the glass. If Phoenix gives Curry extra attempts, the Suns might find themselves chasing the score all evening.
Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors Game Pick
- Golden State Warriors
Phoenix's victory in the first meeting shouldn't be ignored, particularly with Booker capable of another strong outing. But the Suns have followed that result with consecutive losses, and their defense remains a concern. Golden State has won three straight, beating Denver, Minnesota and the Lakers in different ways. Curry provides the scoring, while Lendeborg and Podziemski have been giving him meaningful support. I expect Phoenix to make this competitive, but Golden State has shown more ways to win lately. The Warriors are my pick.
Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors Over/Under Pick
- Over
These clubs combined for 253 points in Phoenix, and the Suns haven't held anyone below 124 through four games. Golden State is averaging 117.6 points, with Curry hitting outside shots at a high rate. Booker has enough help from Brooks and Bridges to contribute at the other end, especially against a Warriors team that also gave up 131 in the first meeting. Friday's defensive outing against the Lakers was encouraging for Golden State, but this matchup has enough scoring threats to produce another high total. I'll take the over.
