Astros Looking to Earn Series Win
Houston won for the fourth time in six games as they thrashed Cincinnati in the opening game of the set Friday night. Teng, in his 27th career major league appearance, ninth start, pitches against the Reds for the first time here. As a result, this marks his first career outing at the Great American Ball Park.
Cincinnati Hoping to Snap Out of Recent Funk
Cincinnati was blasted in the opening game of this set Friday night, extending their skid to eight games. The Reds entered Saturday 20-19 and in the basement of the NL Central, seven games behind the Cubs for the top spot. Against Houston Friday night, Cincinnati finished with five hits as Elly De La Cruz was the only player with two. The Reds finished one of six with runners in scoring position and left six men on base in the loss.
