Montreal remains the strongest Grey Cup futures selection entering Week 18, although the reason for backing the Alouettes is different from earlier in the season. At +175, bettors are no longer buying an overlooked contender at a long price. They are paying a premium for the team with the clearest combination of regular-season performance and playoff positioning.
The Alouettes enter Week 18 at 11-3 and have already secured a postseason berth and the right to host a playoff game. A Montreal victory over Winnipeg combined with a Toronto loss to BC would clinch first place in the East and give the Alouettes the right to host the Eastern Final.

The downside is price. +175 is much shorter than Montreal's earlier futures numbers, so bettors are no longer receiving a large margin for error. The current wager is based on Montreal having the strongest combination of championship probability and postseason position rather than being an undiscovered value team.
BC Lions Grey Cup Odds: +450
BC has become one of the most interesting alternatives to Montreal after winning seven of its last eight games entering Week 18.
Nathan Rourke gives the Lions the quarterback ceiling required to win multiple playoff games, and BC's recent surge has been supported by improved defensive play rather than offense alone. That balance makes the Lions more dangerous than their earlier-season record suggested.
The challenge is the West Division path. Edmonton has already secured a playoff berth, while Saskatchewan, BC, Winnipeg, and Calgary remain involved in a crowded race for positioning. BC may have to survive multiple difficult postseason games before reaching the Grey Cup.
At +450, however, the Lions provide a substantially larger return than Montreal while still offering a legitimate championship profile.
Edmonton Elks Grey Cup Odds: +425
Edmonton is priced just ahead of BC at approximately +425 and remains one of the strongest West Division championship options.
The Elks have already secured a playoff berth and have built one of the league's best overall records behind a balanced roster and strong defensive performance. Their postseason position gives them an important advantage over West teams still fighting simply to qualify or improve seeding.
Edmonton's price reflects that stability. The Elks no longer carry longshot odds, but +425 still offers meaningful upside for a team that may enter the postseason with one of the conference's cleaner paths.
Toronto Argonauts Grey Cup Odds: +475
Toronto remains firmly in the championship discussion at approximately +475.
The Argonauts have already clinched a postseason berth and the right to host a playoff game, and they enter Week 18 on a four-game winning streak. Chad Kelly and Toronto's passing game give the Argonauts enough offensive upside to challenge Montreal in a potential East playoff matchup.
The biggest issue for a Toronto futures ticket is Montreal's position at the top of the division. Unless the East standings change, Toronto's likely postseason route is more difficult because the Argonauts may need to win an additional playoff game before getting an opportunity to reach the Grey Cup.
That more difficult path explains why Toronto offers a significantly larger payout than Montreal despite its recent form.
Saskatchewan Roughriders Grey Cup Odds: +750
Saskatchewan offers one of the more interesting mid-range futures prices at +750.
The Roughriders can clinch a playoff berth with a Week 18 victory over Calgary, giving Saskatchewan an immediate opportunity to remove some uncertainty from its postseason outlook.
The price is attractive compared with the favorites, but Saskatchewan still has to navigate an extremely competitive West Division. Edmonton, BC, Winnipeg, and Calgary have all shown the ability to create difficult matchups, so bettors taking +750 are accepting substantially more postseason-path risk in exchange for the larger payout.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers Grey Cup Odds: +1300
Winnipeg has moved into longshot territory at approximately +1300.
The Bombers remain alive in the crowded West race, but quarterback uncertainty significantly changes their futures profile. Zach Collaros is unavailable, putting additional pressure on Dru Brown, Brady Oliveira, and the Winnipeg defense as the club fights for postseason position.

The Stampeders have one of the CFL's most explosive offenses, and Vernon Adams Jr. gives Calgary enough quarterback talent to create problems in a single elimination game. That offensive ceiling is the argument for anyone considering the long price.
The counterargument is Calgary's defensive performance and difficult postseason position. The Stampeders still have substantial work to do just to secure the necessary playoff path, making +2200 appropriate for a team that would likely need multiple favorable results before reaching the Grey Cup.
